are you ready to

take the challenge?

- Rules and Regulations -

Welcome to the 3rd annual Mayor's Mountain Bike Challenge!  This event was inspired by riders for riders.   We love our trails and we wanted to get more people, locals and visitors alike, to fall in love with them.  The Mayor's Mountain Bike Challenge is free to participate in and helps you discover some of the most exciting and challenging routes the North State has to offer.  Whether you have never ridden a mountain bike before or that's how you make your paycheck, we have a category that will be sure to offer you a challenge and bring a smile (or is that a grimace) to your face.

Things have changed a little this year so read on. Pick up your packet, choose which category you want to participate in and complete 3 of the routes of your choice in that category.  This is a change from past years where we required participants to complete all of the routes in their category. This makes it easier for weekend warriors and visitors to participate.  Mark completed routes off in your passport and turn it in at one of the drop of locations listed below.  You will receive a participation award and be entered into a drawing for grand prize of your category.  We have also added a category for 12 and under finishers

Youths 12 and under can choose to enter the raffle in their own category for a gift card for $200 to the store of their choice. To qualify for the raffle they need to complete any three rides in any categories.  They also have the option to enter the category of the 3 highest routes completed if they would rather go for the higher valued bike shop certificate.
